Description This copper-silicon alloy is used to weld similar composition base metals, brass, and to weld these copper alloys to steel. Silicon bronze is also frequently used in GTAW "brass welding" of coated sheet steels.
Specifications - Preheat: Silicon bronze base metals generally do not require preheat. Brass or copper base metals may require some preheat depending on copper content and thickness.

UPS Restrictions: Any item greater than 150 lbs. or exceeding the UPS maximum package size total constraints of 130 inches (length + girth, where girth is 2 x width plus 2 x height) cannot be shipped via UPS. UPS also requires an actual street address location. UPS does not offer service to Post Office Boxes or APO/FPO Military Mail addresses.
USPS Shipping: We offer USPS Priority Mail shipping available to all orders under 15 lbs. As mentioned above, UPS does not offer service to Post Office Boxes or APO/FPO Military Mail addresses.
