Description Hardest deposit of all Ranite rods, except expensive tungsten carbide. At less than 1/4 the cost of tungsten carbide it is well worth a try. This is a chromium-boron alloy recommended for parts subject to severe abrasion, moderate impact and high compressive loads. Deposits should be limited to two layers and develop cross checks.
