Description Black Stallion® FlakFinger™ welding heat shield sleeve ads extra heat protection for "drag fingers" while TIG welding. The adjustable fiberglass sleeve fits over pinkie and third finger to provide additional heat resistance while wearing thin TIG welding gloves. Bottom portion of hand is also protected by reinforced fiberglass tail. Adjustable leather cuff keeps the FlakFinger comfortably and firmly in place.
The patent pending design of the FlakFinger allows you to keep the sensitive touch needed during TIG welding operations while providing critical heat protection to portions of the hand exposed to arc heat or hot metal surfaces. The FlakFinger is also suitable for light duty MIG welding applications.
